Noblesville Republican Mayor Chris Jensen officially announced on July 13 that he’ll be running for re-election in 2027.
“I love this community, I love this job, and I’m not done yet,” Jensen said in a statement. “Together, we’ve accomplished an incredible amount by focusing on Hoosier common sense instead of political division. But there is still more work to do, and I would be honored to continue serving the people of Noblesville.”
Jensen said his administration’s four priorities are: improving quality of life, fiscal responsibility for taxpayer dollars, infrastructure investments and safety. Some of these infrastructure projects include extensive construction on Pleasant Street and Downtown, the Innovation Mile business district which will house USA Gymnastics’ headquarters and expanded road connectivity.
Jensen became mayor in 2020 and was re-elected in 2023 after running uncontested in the general and primary elections. If reelected for a third term, he hopes to keep investing in infrastructure while “protecting the qualities that make Noblesville unique.”
