The Indianapolis Colts host the San Francisco 49ers on “Monday Night Football” in NFL Week 16 action. Both teams are watching injuries in the wake of Week 15 games.
The Colts, who are without right tackle Braden Smith (concussion, injured reserve), may be without left tackle Bernhard Raimann (elbow). Cornerback Sauce Gardner (calf) has missed the past two games, and defensive tackle DeForest Buckner (neck) and quarterback Anthony Richardson (eye) are eligible to come off injured reserve.
San Francisco wide receiver Ricky Pearsall left after its first play from scrimmage with an ankle issue, but he returned and had 6 catches for 96 yards.
Both teams have lost players for the rest of the regular season. For the Colts, quarterback Daniel Jones (Achilles) and cornerback Charvarius Ward (concussion); for the Niners, linebacker Fred Warner (ankle), defensive end Nick Bosa (knee) and wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk (knee).

Left tackle Bernhard Raimann (right elbow) left the game against the Seahawks and did not return.
CB Sauce Gardner
Cornerback Sauce Gardner (calf) left early in the Colts’ Week 13 game against the Houston Texans and has missed two games.
DT DeForest Buckner
Defensive tackle DeForest Buckner (neck) practiced during Week 15 but was not activated off injured reserve. He last played in Week 9.
WR Anthony Gould
Wide receiver/special teamer Anthony Gould (foot) missed Week 15 after suffering an injury in Week 14.
