The Indianapolis Colts announced that they’ve signed 12 undrafted rookies following the 2026 NFL draft.
Making the 53-man roster for an undrafted rookie is always going to be an uphill battle, but in recent years, we’ve seen two UDFAs accomplish that feat.
In 2024, it was offensive lineman Dalton Tucker, and last year it was cornerback Johnathan Edwards.
When it comes to making a roster push as a UDFA, of course, how you perform throughout training camp and the preseason is critical, but you also have to play a position where there is a roster spot available.
Several of these players will likely end up on the Colts’ practice squad.
