Hello, my name is Ranger and I’ll let you in on a little secret — I get along with both cats and dogs. So, no matter the make-up of your family, I will fit right in.
I am two years old and considered a pit-mix. I have been living at South Bend Animal Resource Center since I was brought in as a stray. Although they have been very kind and have given me my own room, I am ready to move out and find a forever family.
I am a little of a ‘neat freak’ and I keep my kennel clean as long as I am let outside regularly. I have been taught to ‘sit’ and I am sure I could learn more commands with someone who is willing to work with me. I look forward to going out for walks to explore the forest and trees, looking for a new smell and trail to follow.
I can’t wait to have a family that likes to go outside and play. I have a special ball, it is like a priceless treasure to me. I proudly carry it around and will gladly share it with my people if they will play fetch with me. I thrive on attention and affection, so you might find me next to you — a lot.
