Jahari Miller, one of the state’s top high school basketball players in the 2027 class, is transferring to a prep school for his senior season.
Miller, a 6-3 point guard, will play his senior season at Faith Family Academy in Dallas, Texas. Faith Family Christian, a four-time University Interscholastic League state champion in Texas, joined the Nike EYBL Scholastic League last year, joining programs like Montverde Academy (Fla.), IMG Academy (Fla.), La Lumiere in LaPorte and CIA Bella Vista (Ariz.).
Faith Family Academy also has three-star 2027 guards in Avery Moses and Brayden Williams, five-star 2028 point guard Josiah Rose and Xavier Young, a 6-10 four-star prospect in the 2028 class.
Miller averaged 14.1 points, 3.7 rebounds and 3.2 assists last season as a junior for a Pike team that finished 23-4 and won a Class 4A sectional championship. He is ranked as a four-star prospect and the No. 61 overall player in the 2027 class on the 247sports composite and has offers from Alabama, DePaul, Florida State, Georgetown, Mississippi State, Ohio State, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss, Saint Louis, TCU, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest, among others.
Miller was named a core member of the Indiana Junior All-Stars after the season but did not play with the Junior All-Stars or with Pike in June. The Red Devils should still be among the top teams in the state this season with Purdue recruit Isaiah Hill returning, along with senior Kenneth Lampley and junior Landon Lampley, among others.
