It could be a very big day for Notre Dame football recruiting, as 2027 5-star linebacker Kaden Henderson will make his commitment.
The biggest question right now is who he will pick, will it be the Irish, Texas A&M or LSU. There have been plenty of recent developments in Henderson’s pursuit, and over the last week it seemed Iike Notre Dame was the leader for the nation’s No. 22 overall prospect in the 247Sports Composite.
However, that might not be the case anymore, as Zach Blostein of 247Sports believes that heading into today, it will be the Aggies that win out his recruitment. He said “The Irish held all the buzz for Henderson earlier this week. However, within the past few days, momentum is shifting back in favor of Texas A&M.”
Blostein ultimately believes that the “Aggies stand the best shot to land him,” which would be a huge blow to Notre Dame’s 2027 class. The one positoin that they’ve “struggled” recruiting is at linebacker and Henderson would make that a moot point. We’ll see what happens later today, but there is still hope the Irish land the 5-star prospect.
