BLOOMINGTON — Indiana football defensive end Triston Abram has entered the transfer portal with the Hoosiers set to open fall camp in the coming days.
Abram made the announcement on social media Wednesday, July 29. The Missouri native was a 3-star signee in IU’s 2025 signing class. He had 18 scholarship offers coming out of Christian Brothers College, including Kansas State, Cincinnati, Michigan and Georgia Tech.
The 6-foot-3, 228-pounder will have four years of eligibility left.
He didn’t play last year while redshirting, but participated in spring camp with Indiana looking to reload at defensive end after graduating three key players in the rotation (Mikail Kamara, Stephen Daley and Kellan Wyatt) at the position.
Indiana coach Curt Cignetti came out of the spring excited about the team’s depth at the position.
“Defensively we have 18 defensive linemen, between D-ends, D-tackles,” Cignetti said. “Good young players, good old players.”
