In-state players, commits in new 2027 national recruiting rankings

The new Rivals150 basketball rankings for the 2027 class were released on Monday and there are several players with in-state connections listed.

No. 25 Isaiah Hill, Pike

The 7-foot Hill averaged 12.4 points, 9.5 rebounds and 4.6 blocked shots as a junior for a 23-4 Pike team that won a sectional title. Purdue has long been considered one of the favorites for Hill, the Marion County Player of the Year. He also has offers from Indiana, Notre Dame, Georgetown, Louisville, Syracuse and TCU.

No. 43 Jason Gardner Jr., Fishers

The 6-1 Gardner was limited to just seven games as a junior due to a broken bone his left hand. He averaged 20.3 points, 5.4 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.4 steals, shooting 57% from the field. Gardner has high-major offers from Arizona, Florida, Indiana, Notre Dame and Purdue.

No. 48 Chase Branham, Rogersville, Mo.

The 6-4 Branham averaged 21.5 points, 3.6 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 2.2 steals per game a junior in high school, leading his team to a Class 4 state championship in Missouri. Branham shot 41% from the 3-point line.

No. 58 Jahari Miller, Pike

The 6-3 guard averaged 14.1 points, 3.7 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game for the Red Devils in a 23-win season. Miller has offers from DePaul, Florida State, Georgetown, Ohio State, Oklahoma State, Saint Louis, TCU and Wake Forest, among others.

No. 62 Jaylan Mitchell, Overtime Elite

The 6-7 Mitchell, a former Evansville Reitz standout, started out last year at Spire Academy before shifting over to Overtime Elite in January. He took part in the USA Basketball Junior Team minicamp last weekend in Westfield. Mitchell has offers from Illinois, Missouri, Ohio State and others.

No. 92 Ben McKinney, Sunrise Christian Academy

The 6-11 McKinney, who attended Brebeuf Jesuit as a sophomore, transferred to Sunrise Christian Academy (Kan.), as a junior. McKinney has picked up offers from Akron and Cal.

No. 123 Kenneth Lampley, Pike

The 6-7 Lampley played his best basketball at the end of his junior season for Pike and finished the season averaging 9.9 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.0 assists. Lampley has offers from Rutgers and Mississippi State.
