Below are schedules, scores and pairings for the 2025 Indiana high school softball sectional tournaments for Central Indiana teams.
Sectionals are scheduled for May 26-31, followed by a one-game regional on June 3. The four-game semistates will be played June 7, with the winners advancing to their respective state championship game June 13-14 at Purdue’s Bittinger Stadium.

CLASS 4A
8. Fishers (6)
G1: Noblesville 9, Hamilton Southeastern 2 — Noblesville and its ‘incredibly impressive’ offense dethrone defending 4A state champion
G2: Zionsville 2, Westfield 1 — Zionsville senior won’t allow dislocated shoulder to keep her from postseason. ‘I love this team’
G3: Noblesville 4, Fishers 0 — Brookelyn Grayson went 3-for-3 (again) with a couple runs scored, Hailey Schatko notched two hits and two RBI and Aubrye Retzinger spun a two-hit shutout with five Ks and a couple walks for the Millers. Adrianne Cook accounted for both of Fishers hits.
G4: Zionsville 6, Carmel 0 — Sylvia Mudis (3-for-4, two RBI, one run), Leah Helton (2-for-3, two RBI) and Hadley Bray (2-for-4) all went yard for the Eagles, who generated six runs on 12 hits. Helton spun a two-hit shutout with 14 strikeouts and only one walk. Zionsville advances to the sectional championship vs. Noblesville. The Millers won the regular-season matchup, 5-4, last week.

9. Mt. Vernon (6)
G1: Richmond 15, Muncie Central 2
G2: Greenfield-Central 4, Mt. Vernon (Fortville) 1 — The Cougars manufactured three runs before an out was recorded in the bottom of the first and that proved to be enough. Josie White, Kristen Wineinger, Savvanna Riall, Charlotte Riehle, Tovaria Smith and Erin Daniels accounted for the team’s six hits, while Addie Heacox allowed just one run on four hits over seven innings. She struck out four and walked five. Greenfield-Central will face Pendleton Heights in the semifinals. The Cougars rallied from a four-run seventh-inning deficit to win the regular-season meeting.
G3: Anderson 17, Richmond 1
G4: Greenfield-Central 8, Pendleton Heights 7 — The Cougars rallied from a 7-0 deficit to take down the Arabians and advance to Thursday’s championship game.

G3: Franklin Central 15, Southport 7 — The Flashes hung six runs in the bottom of the fourth to erase a 7-2 deficit, then tacked on six more in the fifth and another run in the sixth for some additional insurance. Sarah Miller went 4-for-5 with a couple RBI and a run scored, Jadyn Tinsley notched two hits, two runs and four RBI, Kiley Renick homered as part of a two-hit (she also pitched three scoreless innings), three-RBI, two-run effort, August Coons tallied three hits and Adelaide Hubbard posted two hits, two runs and four RBI.
Natalie Vaeth led Southport with two hits and two RBI. Kayden Hernandez drove in a pair of runs.
G4: Center Grove 13, Decatur Central 2

Sophomore Jordyn Crouch made sure those two runs stood up, pitching a five-hit shutout with zero walks and five strikeouts.

G5: Roncalli 5, Indian Creek 2 — Indian Creek struck first with Kristen Soots scoring on a passed ball and Jasmine Day driving in Addie Schaub with an RBI single. Roncalli capitalized on fielding miscues in the bottom of the first to split the deficit in half, then rallied to take the lead in the fifth, with Natalie Summers crushing a lead-off home run to tie and Elise Baker providing the go-ahead base hit to score Eva Hurrle.
Hurrle and Keller added insurance tallies in the sixth with a bunt single and base hit to center, respectively.
Kayla Brewer allowed just two runs on three hits through three innings, then Addy Poe pitched four scoreless innings to close out the win.
Jasmine Day notched a couple hits for Indian Creek. Delaney Jones masterfully weaved in-and-out of danger in the circle, allowing the five runs (four earned) on seven hits with four walks and 10 strikeouts. IC’s 17 wins this season are among the most in program history.
