The 58-year wait for Indiana football fans is nearly over.
The stampede to Pasadena, California has already begun and, for the Hoosiers, weeks of preparation is coming to its climax. Curt Cignetti and his team, along with Kalen DeBoer and his Alabama team, met reporters and practiced Tuesday.
One more sleep before the 4 p.m. New Year’s Day kickoff will determine who advances to the CFP semifinals. And what a day that will be with the Rose parade and Rose Bowl game. IU will put its perfect record on the line, and the No. 1 seed, against a historical power. There are plenty of coaching crossover connections on each sideline, and the recruiting comparison does not compare to one another.
