How much is Philip Rivers getting paid by the Colts?

Philip Rivers has rejoined the Indianapolis Colts after last playing in 2020, when he led them to their most recent playoff appearance.

The 44-year-old grandfather is back on the field in the wake of injuries to Colts quarterbacks Daniel Jones and Riley Leonard. The father of 10 recently completed the season as coach of the St. Michael Catholic football team in Alabama.

How much is Philip Rivers getting paid?

Philip Rivers counts $228,888 toward the Indianapolis Colts 2025 salary cap, according to Spotrac and overthecap.com. He counts as $278,888 in cash, the prorated veteran minimum salary of $1.255 million for the season.

The NFLPA lists his salary at $396,000 for the year or $22,000 per week, because he was signed as a member of the practice squad.

Including this stint, Rivers has made $244.2 million in his 18-year NFL career. He made $25 million with the Colts in 2020.

Rivers was originally signed to the practice squad, where players make between $17,500-$22,000 per week.
