The world’s all-time greatest gymnast related a health scare over the weekend.
Simone Biles, the 11-time Olympic medalist and wife of Indianapolis Colts player Jonathan Owens, posted an Instagram story about “one of, if not the scariest experience of my life.”
“I’m not one to normally share things like this because I value privacy in today’s age,” Biles wrote. “But almost dying wasn’t on my bingo card earlier this week.”
She didn’t elaborate on the issue, but mentioned Owens wasn’t with her because the Colts were in organized team activities.
“I’ve been in bed resting this week, I’ll explain sooner or later but s/o to my close circle who reached out, checked in, visited & or sent flowers. Loooovveeee y’all,” she concluded.
The 29-year-old later posted a photo of her in bed with her dogs, and an image of her heart rate.
A few days earlier, Biles posted a video of doing gymnastics moves on a trampoline.
