Get to know the IndyCar drivers and teams on the 2026 Indianapolis 500 starting grid

The 110th Indianapolis 500 is scheduled for May 24, 2026, at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The traditional 33 drivers are competing for the race, which is 200 laps on the 2.5-mile oval.

Here are the broad strokes: 15 countries are represented, mostly from the United States (12 drivers). Nine former Indy 500 winners are competing, as are four rookies.
