Brown won first place for sports photography where a publication has circulation above 10,000.

This honor came for a photo Brown took during coverage of a high school softball game in April 2024 when the Jasper Wildcats played the Memorial Tigers in Evansville.

His winning photo was one of Jasper’s Brooke Williams throwing to first base.

Brown also took a second-place honor in features photography where a publication has circulation above 10,000.

Evansville residents came together at Deaconess Aquatic Center to watch local Lilly King compete in the 100-meter breaststroke in the Paris Olympics. Brown captured cheering fans as they floated in the pool watching King.
