MUNCIE, IN — A Muncie man was arrested on Wednesday, July 15, after two children said he had repeatedly sexually abused them.
Jonathan Ezekiel Holley, 37, was being held without bond on Thursday in the Delaware County Jail, on suspicion of rape, child molesting, child solicitation, sexual misconduct with a minor, criminal confinement, sexual grooming and neglect of a dependent.
According to a detective with the Delaware County Sheriff’s Department, the two children — both under the age of 13 — reported they had been “raped and sodomized” by Holley over several years, beginning when they were 5 and 6 years old, respectively.
The girls said they were at times left in Holley’s care with other children and that he threatened to not feed the other children if his accusers “didn’t capitulate to his demands.”
Holley is accused of confining the girls in a garage, bathroom and bedroom when he assaulted them.
Holley, arrested after a Wednesday traffic stop, reportedly “blamed one of the victims for sexual activities,” the detective wrote.
The Muncie man, listed on the Indiana Sex and Violent Offender Registry, has been convicted of a sex-related offense involving a juvenile in Texas, according to an affidavit.
Delaware County Prosecutor Eric Hoffman’s office will determine whether formal charges will be filed in the local case.
The local investigation began on July 8 after police in Frankton, in Madison County, made Delaware County authorities aware of the allegations.
