Another Chick-fil-A is opening in Noblesville. What else is coming to busy SR 37 intersection

Chick-fil-A has begun construction of a restaurant at the corner of 146th Street and State Road 37, its third Noblesville location, while a popular coffee chain from Oregon also prepares to open its first Indiana spot at the busy intersection.

The drive-through Chick-fil-A will be next to the Tom Wood Volkswagen and Costco on the northeast corner of the intersection. Construction is scheduled to be completed in October, according to the city of Noblesville Development Dashboard.

The restaurant is just four miles from a Chick-fil-A at the Hamilton Town Center near Interstate 69 and three miles from another location at 16685 Mercantile Blvd. along State Road 37 to the north. The Town Center Chick-fil-A was closed for a week in April to expand.

The popular fast-casual restaurant is known for its grilled chicken sandwiches and waffle fries. It has 3,000 restaurants in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico.

A representative for the company could not be reached for comment immediately.

Dutch Bros Coffee is scheduled to open on the south side of 146th at 14560 Mundy Drive in June.  It was founded in Grants Pass, Oregon, in 1992 by brothers Dane and Travis Boersma, who started the business as a push cart, according to the company’s website, and now has over 900 locations in 17 states.

The Noblesville location will be the first Dutch Bros. to open in Indiana, though others are planned.

The café makes a wide variety of coffees, teas, energy drinks, shakes and smoothies.

The shop will have double drive-through lanes in addition to a walk-up window to serve pedestrians.
