Coming off the best season in program history, Indiana volleyball begins the 2026 season with high expectations.
The Hoosiers are ranked 16th on the American Volleyball Coaches Association preseason list, along with seven other Big Ten programs, including overwhelming No. 1 Nebraska.
Coach Steve Aird’s team went 25-8 last season (14-6, fifth place in the Big Ten), reaching the Sweet 16. While losing key players such as its winningest player Candela Alonso-Corcelles and right-side Avry Tatum to graduation, IU returned setter Teodora Krickovic, outside hitter Jaidyn Jager and liberos Hannah Leftridge and Audrey Jackson.
IU starts this season with an Aug. 28 visit to No. 7 Louisville.
