The Indianapolis Colts made one addition on the NFL’s waiver wire, claiming linebacker Chad Muma.

The team also had three of their roster cuts from Tuesday claimed by other teams.

Cornerback JuJu Brents will be joining the Miami Dolphins, Jelani Woods was claimed by the New York Jets, and cornerback Samuel Womack by the Tennessee Titans.

Brents was a second-round pick by the Colts in 2023, but has unfortunately dealt with injuries throughout his career. In his first two seasons, he appeared in only 11 games, while also missing most of this summer’s training camp.

Woods, a third-round pick by the Colts in 2022, has had to navigate his own injuries, which includes missing all of the 2023 and 2024 seasons.

Woods was healthy this summer and hauled in seven receptions for 75 yards during the preseason. However, Will Mallory earned the final tight end roster spot with the more consistent performance throughout the summer.

At 6-7 – 253 pounds, Woods brings an impressive combination of size and athleticism to the tight end position.

With Womack, in a revamped cornerback room, up-and-down play this summer led to him getting squeezed out by the new additions. Womack played over 600 defensive snaps for the Colts in 2024.
