NOAA 2026 summer forecast for Illinois
The NOAA says Illinois has an equal chance of above, near or below normal temperatures June through August, with no heavy indications either way. Meanwhile, the southernmost tip of the state may lean warmer.
The administration predicts a similar outlook for precipitation, with Illinois and a majority of other states having equal chances of above, near or below normal rainfall.
