CHILLICOTHE − A new Dunkin’ and Baskin-Robbins location is preparing to open its doors to the community. Franchise partner Deep Patel said the aim is to open at 701 N. 4th St. on Sept. 29.
Once open, the storefront will operate from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
The location was formerly home to Lucky Dog’s Pub & Eatery. The restaurant closed in February 2024 after more than nine years in business.
Multi-unit manager Kartik Patel said the community has expressed strong support and excitement about the storefront and added “we’re just as excited to welcome them.”
“We’ve always loved this location because it provides an easy pathway for guests traveling between Peoria and Chicago,” Kartik Patel said in a statement provided to the Journal Star. “We had many customers coming to our Peoria locations from Chillicothe, so it only made sense to open a location here.”
