Market returning to Peoria riverfront this weekend. Here's what to know

Over 115 vendors are prepared to turn out to the Peoria Riverfront Market this weekend for the start of the 2026 season.

The market – which began in 2004 – has become a summertime staple for Downtown Peoria, with bustling crowds shopping for everything from pottery to produce.

When is the Peoria Riverfront Market?

Hosted from 8 a.m. to noon each Saturday, the market runs from May 23 through Sept. 26.

Where is the Peoria Riverfront Market?

The market is set up along the 200 block of Water Street in Downtown Peoria. Tents fill the parking lot to the left of River Station, wrapping behind the building and extending up the small lot on Liberty Street.

Where is parking for the Peoria Riverfront Market?

There are multiple options for free parking near the Peoria Riverfront Market.

A public lot near the intersection of Liberty Street and Southwest Water Street is one option, while the Caterpillar lot near the intersection of Hamilton Blvd and Water Street is another. Street parking is also free on the weekends.  

What kind of vendors are at the Peoria Riverfront Market?

While there is some variation from week to week, visitors will find products such as:

“At long last…the Peoria Riverfront Market is BACK and the Cheesecake Caboose is officially rolling into Triple Dipple’s 11th season at the RiverFront!” Triple Dipple’s said on Facebook. “Join us this Saturday from 8am–12pm for sunshine, tons of local vendors, and great times.”
