San Marco Avenue in St. Augustine closing for Eucharistic Pilgrimage

On Sunday, May 24, at 5 p.m., San Marco Avenue will close to vehicular traffic to accommodate The 2026 National Eucharistic Pilgrimage traveling from the Mission Nombre de Dios to the Cathedral Basilica via the Bayfront.

San Marco Avenue, South Castillo Drive and Avenida Menendez will have traffic delays. Vehicular traffic on Cathedral Place will be diverted to King Street, which will temporarily operate as a two-way street until all participants have safely cleared the roadway.

Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes if possible and allow extra travel time.
