A suspect has been taken into custody nearly 11 months after a deadly shooting in Peoria.

Quinterius Evans, 31, of Peoria was shot to death on July 23, 2024. Police found him lying in the road in the 2500 block of West Garden Street with multiple gunshot wounds. A week later, police identified Bryan D. Vann as the suspect in the shooting but were unable to locate him.
