Kid’s Craft
What: Come to the second floor and create your own spooky glow-in-the-dark eyes.

Pottery and Art Festival
What: The Fourth Annual Pottery and Art Festival will include demonstrations in pottery and the art of Raku. Additionally, a number of artists from the surrounding area will be featuring glass, wood, textiles, photography, candles and soap.

Cambridge UMC Fall Review
What: The 35th annual craft show includes original items only, and a gourmet shop with jellies, mustards, pickles and more. There will be frozen food sales of ready-to-bake fruit pies, apple dumplings, lasagna, ham loaves, Swedish meatballs and cheesy tortellini soup. There will be freshly-baked bread, cookies and cinnamon rolls in the bakery. Breakfast is served from 7 – 9 a.m. and lunch is served from 11 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Bargain Hunter Weekend
What: Celebrate the bounty of fall as various stores, museums and restaurants offer special discounts, events and activities. Collect signatures from six businesses or museums and be entered for a gift basket drawing at the Colony Store.

Brandy Clark with High Tea
What: High Tea, a folk-punk duo hailing from Massachusetts, performs the opening set from 5-5:50 p.m. High Tea is what happens when a story-spinning blues guitarist meets a harmony-obsessed punk. Isabella DeHerdt and Isaac Eliot fill spaces with homegrown storytelling and booming vocals. Their songs are ripe with existential angst, weaving tales of growing up, going wild and always coming back to the ones you love. A Grammy, CMA and Americana Award-winner, Brandy Clark is one of her generation’s most esteemed songwriters and musicians. Clark won Best Americana Performance at the 66th Grammy Awards and Song of the Year at the 2024 Americana Honors & Awards with her acclaimed song, “Dear Insecurity,” featuring 11x Grammy-winner Brandi Carlile. In addition to her work as a solo artist, Clark has written songs such as “A Beautiful Noise,” the Grammy-nominated duet performed by Brandi Carlile and Alicia Keys, and Kacey Musgraves’ “Follow Your Arrow.” She also composed the music for the hit musical comedy, “Shucked,” alongside longtime collaborator, Shane McAnally. With the show, Clark won Outstanding Music at the 67th Drama Desk Awards and was nominated for Best Original Score at the 76th Tony Awards, with “Shucked” receiving nine Tony nominations overall last year.

Northern Resonance w/Wolfskill & The Wild
What: A classically-trained violinist and a songwriting troubadour, Wolfskill & The Wild are a Midwest-grown, Iowan native folk-duo, delivering an authentic, fierce and bold musical fusion. Wolfskill & The Wild blend alternative folk, contemporary strings and experimental ambience that pays homage to their Driftless Area roots. The duo has performed on stage in support of acts including The Ballroom Thieves, The Arcadian Wild and Chicago Farmer and more. This is an all ages, family-friendly show. The rain location is Bishop Hill Creative Commons. There is an optional potluck/social hour at 6 p.m.

Barkin for Bingo
What: There will be prizes for every round. Food is served from 11 a.m. until gone. Enjoy a brat and Mark Eiler’s famous potato salad for $7 or hot dog and potato salad for $5. All money raised helps support the animals at the Kewanee Animal Shelter.

Barrels of Fun Show
What: The Blue Ribbon Roundup Barrels of Fun Show provides a friendly competition, classes and community spirit. There will be events and awards, with classes for junior (age 17 and younger) and senior (age 18 and older) plus ribbons for first through sixth place in every class and high point awards. Crowd favorites and fun classes include costume class, bribe your horse and dollar bareback. There will be food available on site. Proceeds support the TriCo Youth Show Team. All participants assume the risk of equine activities under the Illinois Equine Activity Liability Act.
When: 9 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 12 (arena opens at 8:30 a.m.)

Ryan Bizarri
What: Ryan Bizarri is an accomplished performing songwriter who earned his way onto the most sought-after stages such as the Bluebird Café and prestigious writer rooms. Ryan wrote Rodney Atkins’ (Curb Records) 2014 radio single, “Eat Sleep Love You Repeat” with Monument Records artist Walker Hayes. He crafts his songs with meaningful lyrics and sweet melodies, delivered with an engaging presentation and a laid-back Midwest/Southern voice. After nearly 20 years of making Music City his home, Ryan now claims the title of Midwest Artist/Nashville Songwriter as of 2022, bringing his family back to their Midwest roots to settle into Geneseo.
