PEORIA – Twisted Pasta is holding its grand opening at the Twin Towers Mall today.
The business – which began as a mobile venture earlier this year – encouraged the community “to come get twisted with us!” in a recent Facebook post about the opening.
In a comment, Twisted Pasta said it expects to operate from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday through Friday. The eatery added it may eventually expand its days of operation to include Mondays and Saturdays.
Twisted Pasta shared the “Big News” in a Sept. 6 Facebook post. The announcement said customers would continue to find favorites from the food truck.
“(Plus) we’re cooking up a couple of new specials,” the Sept. 6 post said.
A menu shared to Facebook earlier this month features pasta bowls and cones, handhelds and “twisted bites.” Customers can find menu items such as:
Customers who post a picture of their food inside the establishment with the hashtag #TwistedPasta will be entered into a drawing for a $75 gift card, according to Twisted Pasta’s Sept. 10 Facebook post.
“Come celebrate, check out the new spot, and let’s make downtown Peoria SAUCY,” the restaurant wrote.
