The Chicago Bears are gearing up for their Week 1 opener against the Minnesota Vikings on Monday Night Football, which will usher in the Ben Johnson era.
The Bears conducted their final practice of the week, where there were some notable updates on key starters and contributors. Chicago will likely be without linebacker T.J. Edwards, who didn’t practice all week and is doubtful. There’s more optimism for cornerback Jaylon Johnson’s return, as he practiced, albeit in limited fashion, every day this week. There’s also some good news for running back Roschon Johnson and cornerback Josh Blackwell.
