The Chicago Bears were back on the practice field at Halas Hall on Thursday for their 13th practice of training camp, which started outdoors but was moved inside due to lightning. It was the team’s final practice before the preseason kicks off Saturday against the Cleveland Browns.
There were some injury updates during Thursday’s practice, including left tackle Braxton Jones, defensive back Cam Lewis and linebacker D’Marco Jackson making their returns. But cornerback Tyrique Stevenson wasn’t spotted at practice, which opened the door for rookie Malik Muhammad to get starting reps opposite Jaylon Johnson outside. Wide receiver Kaden Davis continues to make plays with backup quarterback Tyson Bagent, and we could see that connection a lot on Saturday.
