Bears-Rams injury report: Thursday updates are encouraging

The Chicago Bears are gearing up for their divisional playoff game against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday night, where Chicago is one win away from the NFC Championship Game.

After conducting a walkthrough on Wednesday, the Bears held their first practice of the week on Thursday, where it was more of the same. Wide receivers DJ Moore (knee) and Rome Odunze (foot) were listed as limited participants while cornerback Nick McCloud (groin) was the only non-participant.

Nickel cornerback C.J. Gardner-Johnson (concussion) practiced in full, as well as linebacker Amen Ogbongbemiga (concussion) and defensive end Joe Tryon-Shoyinka (concussion). Offensive tackle Braxton Jones (knee) was activated off injured reserve this week, and he should be available as depth behind starter Theo Benedet, who replaces the injured Ozzy Trpailo.
