A 59-year-old woman was pronounced dead July 16 after being found unresponsive in a vehicle outside a Walgreens, though Fort Pierce Police said there are no obvious signs of foul play.
Police were called about 6:30 a.m. to the incident at the business in the 2500 block of South Jenkins Road, according to Maj. Michael Santiago.
A 911 caller reported going to Walgreens and seeing a woman in vehicle, a Hyundai Sonata, who appeared unresponsive, according to Santiago.
Police performed CPR before St. Lucie County Fire District officials arrived and pronounced the woman dead.
Santiago said it appears the woman may have experienced a medical episode.
No other information was immediately available.
