Part of eastbound U.S. 41 closed at State Road 29 in Collier County at 5 p.m. June 19, state troopers say.
U.S. 41 closed between mile markers 21-23 because of a wildfire in Dade County, Florida Highway Patrol said in a news release.
Westbound U.S. 41 also will be closed on U.S. 27 in Dade County, FHP said.
All Interstate 75 lanes and westbound U.S. 41 from State Road 29 remain open.
“Motorists traveling near the area are urged to use caution, reduce speed, and remain alert for any changing conditions. Updates will be provided as needed. Travel Safe!” FHP said.
