Where will Florida go to replace Georgia flip Kennedee Jackson?

Class of 2027, four-star, offensive line prospect Kennedee Jackson chose to rescind his commitment to Florida and will now attend rival Georgia. The news came after Jackson took an official visit to Athens, despite having already pledged to Jon Sumrall and the Gators on June 2.

The 6-foot-6-inch, 301-pound offensive tackle from Lithonia, Georgia, was the No. 18 commitment and the Gators’ No. 13 blue-chip recruit this cycle. The strength of offensive line commitments was a big reason Florida ascended in team recruiting rankings, with Maxwell Hiller, Elijah Hutchenson, and Peyton Miller combining with Jackson to make up one of the most impressive OL hauls in the nation.

Florida now turns its focus towards finding a replacement for Jackson as the program looks to fill the remaining four spots in the class. One target to monitor is interior offensive lineman Antonio Berry; expect Florida to make an all-out push for the 6-foot-5-inch, 300-pound, Tupelo, Mississippi native.

A four-star prospect, Berry is ranked No. 96 overall and No. 6 at his position according to the 247Sports composite. He has last in Gainesville on May 28 and recently toured Kentucky on June 5. He has 24 total offers, with nine coming from SEC programs. Rivals suggests that Ole Miss is currently the favorite to land Berry, as he visited Oxford this past weekend.

Florida recently missed out on four-star OT Terrance Smith, who chose LSU over the Gators this week. Smith had Florida in his top four contenders before ultimately picking the Tigers. Another OT for Phil Trautwein was four-star Timi Aliu, who decided to play at Nebraska earlier this summer.
