FSU (51-9) beat the Jacksonville State Gamecocks and Stetson Hatters on Friday to advance to the regional final after losing the regional opener. They run-ruled Jacksonville State 11-0 to start the double header before beating Stetson 11-3 in a revenge game.

After a disappointing opening game, the Seminoles have looked like a team that is capable of making it to the Women’s College World Series. They had 30 hits between the two games with six home runs, one triple, and four doubles. Ashtyn Danley had a monster game against Stetson, going 4-5 with three home runs, tying the FSU record for most home runs in one game. She also earned the win in the circle.

Danley and Bella Dimitrejevic combined to pitch the entire game against Stetson, holding them to six hits on three runs with five walks and four strikeouts. The Hatters scored eight runs against them the day before with 12 hits.

UCF (40-16-1) is 2-0 at the Tallahassee Regional, beating Jacksonville State 2-1 on Friday before crushing Stetson 10-1 on Saturday. This is their third time playing in the Tallahassee Regional in the past four seasons. FSU leads the all-time series against UCF 26-5, winning the last 16 meetings. FSU is 6-0 all-time against the Knights in the postseason.

The game between FSU and UCF will not be broadcast on TV, but it will be streamed live on ESPN+. Clay Matvick and Raine Wilson will call the game from JoAnne Graf Field in Tallahassee, Florida.

What time does FSU softball play today?

The game between FSU and UCF is set to start at noon ET. FSU is 33-3 at home this season, and UCF is 10-4 on the road. If FSU wins, they will play a do-or-die game shortly after.
