The UCF Knights will have two cracks at winning the Tallahassee Regional in the NCAA softball tournament on May 17.
They’ll just have to go through top-seeded host Florida State.
Second-seeded UCF (40-16-1) advanced through the winner’s bracket with back-to-back triumphs over Jacksonville State and Stetson. The Seminoles (51-9) took the more scenic route, falling to Stetson in their opener before rebounding with victories over Jacksonville State and the Hatters.

The Knights need just one more win to clinch a Super Regional spot. The Seminoles, who carry the nation’s ninth overall seed, will need to claim both matchups.
