How much 2026 salary cap space do the Jacksonville Jaguars have devoted to the quarterback position?
For this season, the league-wide salary cap was set at $301.2 million. The Jaguars have $28.39 million invested at quarterback, according to Over the Cap.
This ranks as the 17th most compared to the rest of the NFL and accounts for less than 10% of the Jaguars’ total salary cap space.

Of that $28.39 million figure, Trevor Lawrence accounts for $24 million of that, which is the largest cap hit on the team. However, as quarterback contracts continue to increase, Lawrence’s cap hit in 2026 is relatively modest, ranking as the 14th-largest.
Of note, however, Lawrence’s cap hit does jump to $35 million in 2027, but the salary cap will likely increase once again as well, helping to offset that additional cost.
At the backup quarterback spot, Nick Mullens’ cap hit is $2.5 million. Even among other backups, this ranks around the middle of the pack.
Then rounding out the quarterback room are Carter Bradley — a practice squad player in 2025 — with a cap hit of $1.005 million, and Joey Aguilar — a UDFA — with a cap hit of $885,000.
