Whitney Laboratory Sea Turtle Hospital Tour on July 3 and July 8. A private, behind-the-scenes tour at the Sea Turtle Hospital at Whitney Laboratory led by a Sea Turtle Biologist. There is a fee.
Fired Up Kingfish Tournament
St. Augustine’s Fired Up KingFish Tournament, scheduled for July 3 to July 6, promises a weekend of fishing, parties, prizes and fun. There will be no fishing on July 4. Now in its second year, Fired Up is raising funds for St. Augustine’s Tanner Gillespie Foundation, HorsePlay Therapy Center and Diamond of Dreams. Click here for story details.

Fireworks Over the Matanzas
The City of St. Augustine will host Fireworks Over the Matanzas on Friday, July 4. The All-Star Orchestra will begin the festivities at 6 p.m. in the Plaza de la Constitución. The 20-minute, musically choreographed, explosive extravaganza over the Matanzas River bayfront begins at 9:30 p.m. Fireworks will be displayed over the Castillo de San Marcos National Monument and the Bridge of Lions. First Friday ArtWalk

Nurdle Patrol
The Matanzas Riverkeeper is hosting a Nurdle Patrol along Marineland Beach on July 10 from 11 a.m. to noon at the River to Sea Preserve Beach Access. Nurdle Patrols target plastic pollution.
Veterans Sunset Kayaking

A Brand-New Dunkin’
Dunkin’ will celebrate the groundbreaking of its very first Dunkin’ in Hastings at 8800 W. Church St. on July 11 at 11 a.m.

Ancient City Chapter – Florida Writers Association meets at 10 a.m. in the St. Johns County Main Library Branch (1960 N. Homeless Coalition Food Drive
The Homeless Coalition of St Johns County will collect canned food at St. Augustine’s Classic Car Museum Cruiser Drive-In at 4730 U.S. 1 on July 19 from 5 to 7 p.m.
All Abilities Paddle

Yoga in the Garden at the Lightner Museum
Serenity Yoga in the Radzinski Garden will be held July 19 at 8:30 a.m. at the Lightner Museum on the Trefry Family Green. Bring water, a yoga mat or towel to practice on, and props if needed.
The Art of Floral Arranging at the Lightner Museum
The Art of Floral Arranging: Succulents and Sunflowers, guided by local floral designer Erica Canelos, will be held July 24 from 6 to 8 p.m. Tickets are limited, and guests must register in advance.
Magician Chuck Hayes
Magician Chuck Hayes will be at the Center for Spiritual Living on Friday, July 25 at 7:30 p.m. at 1795 Old Moultrie Rd. Admission is $10.
Materialistic Uptown
Materialistic Uptown, neighborhood block party will be held on Friday, July 25 from 5 to 9 p.m. along San Marco Avenue.

Florida Talks: Exploring Florida’s Sacred Waters
The Matanzas Riverkeeper is hosting Florida Talks: Exploring Florida’s Sacred Waters on July 26 from 2 to 3 p.m. at the St. Johns County Library Anastasia Island Branch. Sponsored by Florida Humanities the seminar features Dr. Victoria Machado who will use the lens of ‘spirituality’ and environmental humanities to investigate how Floridians perceive and value vital water resources.

The City of St. Augustine free concerts
The City of St. Augustine will host Thursday night free concerts through Aug. 29 at the Plaza de la Constitución beginning at 6 p.m. Concert guests include The Committee; Paige King Johnson; Crab Creek Band; The Groove Coalition; Shayla Nelson; Str8Up; JC Hatfield Trio; The Palmetto Pickers; Los Van Guardias; The Landfall Band, ZaZa Flamenca; The Morrow Family Band; Bad Dog Mama and the Think & Thin String Band.

The Veterans Council of St. Johns County
The Veterans Council of St. Johns County will meet July 31 at 7 p.m. at the County Health & Human Services Building in the Muscovy room at 200 San Sebastian View. Liz Tissicino, regional service to the Armed Forces and internationalservices director, American Red Cross of North Florida, and Peter Jennison, SJC Chapter Veteran Enforcers Motorcycle Association, will be the guest speakers.
