Florida A&M football aims to right the ship on its 2025 season and get on a winning streak tonight against Southern.
The Rattlers (2-4, 1-1 in SWAC) rallied in the second half to beat Alcorn State 33-28 last week at homecoming. FAMU quarterback RJ Johnson III passed for a season-high 323 yards and a touchdown while running in another. Thad Franklin Jr. ran for a game-high 67 yards.
Southern is struggling, falling to 1-6 (0-3) after a 24-3 loss to Prairie View A&M and firing coach Terrence Graves afterward. Running back Trey Holly ran for 99 yards and ranks fifth in the SWAC with 83.4 yards per game.
