The Jacksonville Humane Society will partner with Corporate Traffic Logistics for a Mother’s Day weekend promotion, with the company sponsoring all dog and cat adoption fees on Saturday, May 9, and Sunday, May 10. Meanwhile, the Bissell Pet Foundation’s Empty the Shelters reduced adoption fee event, which runs through May 17, will halt for the weekend at the society and resume Monday, May 11. The event will continue uninterrupted at city-run Animal Care and Protection Services, with Bissell sponsor reduced adoption fees of $70 or less for cats and dogs.
