Kudos to Sarasota for providing a clean, safe city for us this past weekend.
We attended the Five Points Park block party on Friday, July 3,
There was lots of family friendly activities and live music.
We stayed at a downtown hotel.
The next morning we passed the park on our way to breakfast, and it was in pristine condition.
We enjoyed meals at great restaurants, and we had an easy walk to the fireworks on the Bay.
The streets were clean.
The plantings along the streets and sidewalks enhanced our strolls through town.
We will return for the theaters and opera.
