Who’ll join a lauded fraternity of past FPL AOTWs that inlcudes Fort Walton Beach’s Macy Borgen, Eric Stouder, Brian Velazquez, Sawyer Downs and Diandre Mayes, Niceville’s Chloe Bailey, CJ Bolden, Delaney Diehl, Abbey Kuritz, Camrin Pearson, Teray Geiger and Jakobe Gilyard, South Walton’s AK Wickman, Connor Rooney and Maci Jones, Paxton’s Borgesen, Cade Stewart and Kenzie Lassiter, Choctaw’s Camry Johnson, Carter Marracco, Tamen Zabetakis and Jordan Figueroa, Navarre’s Maleeya Brammer, Walton’s Kaden Fuentes and Whitton West, Baker’s Wyatt Straight, Crestview’s Manwell Robinson and Trey Hardman and Freeport’s Emily Doi? That’s for you to decide.

Athlete of the Week Nominees
Jack Marracco, Choctawhatchee: At the center of Choctaw’s 4-0 spring break, the younger Marracco went a combined 8-for-15 with six RBIs, four runs and two free passes while spinning a gem with five strikeouts over 4 2/3 innings of two-run ball.
Bryson Perkins, Destin: In a 3-0 week for 11-2 Destin, the junior went a collective 5-for-9 with four runs, three RBIs, two free passes and a stolen base, all while tossing five innings of shutout ball in a win.
Shelby Plasier, Niceville: The reigning state champion in the javelin threw a school-record 147 feet, 3 inches to win this past weekend’s Bob Hayes Invitational.
