Vikings narrow GM search with in-person interview requests

The Vikings have let the dust settle on their offseason now that the 2026 NFL Draft has come and gone. The next step they have to carry out is finding their new general manager after the firing of Kwesi Adofo-Mensah in the middle of it all.

On Wednesday, CBS Sports’ Jonathan Jones reported that the Vikings have requested in-person second-round interviews for their vacant general manager position with five candidates. Moving onto the next phase are the following:

There is no timetable for the next phase of things as it relates to the hiring process. To the Vikings’ benefit, the process should be able to move along quickly with no more major offseason dates as it relates to player movement on the horizon.
