The FSU baseball team has landed its second commitment in as many days. Right-handed pitcher Charlie Christensen committed to the Seminoles on Saturday, announcing his commitment on X.
“Excited for this next chapter,” he wrote. He included a photo of himself in an FSU uniform.
He has spent the past three seasons at Central Arkansas, making 49 appearances and 19 starts. The 6-foot-4, 190-pounder has a career 6.14 ERA in 202.2 innings pitched with 168 strikeouts. Opponents have drawn 80 walks against him.
Christensen had a 5.85 ERA over 80.0 innings pitched in 16 appearances, including 15 starts. He recorded 74 strikeouts against 33 walks. Opponents hit .311 against him with 10 home runs.
He is the fourth transfer that they have landed this offseason and the third pitcher. They have also added left-handed pitchers Trey Beard and Kevin Mebil. Infielder Eli Putnam was their first commitment in the class as they reload for the 2026 season.
