STUART — A truck carrying diesel fuel caught fire on Southwest Kanner Highway causing a temporary road closure as Martin County Fire Rescue crews worked to douse it, according to rescue officials.
No injuries were reported, according to Martin County sheriff’s spokesperson Trisha Green.
A section of Southwest Kanner Highway, south of Southwest 96th Street and north of Southwest Bridge Road, in Stuart was closed in both directions, but it reopened as of 3:45 p.m., she said.
Sheriff’s Office units were on scene assisting Fire Rescue crews.
