Twisted Birch Bar and Grill to reopen in a new spot

The Twisted Birch Bar and Grill has solidified plans to relocate to Barton Boulevard after their Turtle Creek closure.

After eight years serving loyal patrons at Turtle Creek Golf Club, Twisted Birch is preparing for a new chapter at 400 Barton Blvd., the former home of King’s Grill, in Rockledge. The restaurant closed earlier this year when the golf course was sold to a developer who plans to build homes there.

The owners have crafted a reopening strategy to get back to serving customers as soon as possible.

What are the next steps for The Twisted Birch?

The new building currently lacks a commercial hood system and gas lines — essential for cooking Birch staples like wings and burgers.

To avoid a year-long closure, the restaurant will first launch a soft opening in early 2026, without its signature wings and burgers.

“Nobody feels that pain more than we do,” the owners said in a statement on social media. “But we will still put together a great temporary menu to hold us over.”

They are exploring the option of renting a food trailer outside the new location to continue serving fan favorites during the transition, with the ultimate goal of bringing the full experience to the public as quickly as possible.

In the meantime, fans can still visit the owners’ sister restaurant, Oyster Shooters Raw Bar and Grill, located at 916 Florida Ave. in Cocoa Village.
