The FSU Seminoles are looking to add a tight end to their 2026 recruiting class, and an in-state target is ready to make his commitment. Julius Miles, a three-star prospect from Freeport, Florida, will announce his decision on July 5, he told John Garcia Jr. of Rivals.
He will be deciding between the Seminoles, Syracuse Orange, and Louisville Cardinals. It will be tough for the Seminoles to land his commitment, as he did not take his planned official visit to Tallahassee this weekend, instead going to Louisville. However, he has made several trips to FSU and is a fan of the new offense.
“With FSU I love what Gus (Malzahn) is installing in the offense, it’s a no-brainer,” he told Garcia. “I’m a Florida kid so staying home wouldn’t be bad at all.”
Miles had an excellent junior season for Freeport High School, catching 59 passes for 895 yards and seven scores. He is ranked as the No. 28 tight end and No. 86 player in Florida by Rivals. He also recorded 22 tackles and three interceptions on defense.
