Another cookie shop crumbles. After nearly five years of operation, the bakery chain offering a rotating weekly menu of specialty cookies has closed its Thomasville Road location.
A white sign posted on the window of Crumbl Cookies reads “This location has closed permanently” and the location has been removed from the company’s site.
This is the second Crumbl location to close this year. In January the chain dessert shop closed its FSU location on West Tennessee Street.
For those looking for their weekly fix of the newest cookie combinations and desserts, the sign directs guests to the company site to find the nearest location.
One Crumbl Cookies location remains in the capital city at 3122 Mahan Drive.
News of the cookie chain’s closure spread on social media as a member of social food group Tallahassee Foodies posted a picture of the closure sign on the door June 1.
One user responded saying, “Two locations down in the last year, what is going on?”
Another user said, “That’s a bummer! This location was always slightly easier for me to get to.”
