St. Augustine's Friday Uptown Block Party going quarterly soon for the summer

Local shops and vendors gather on the last Friday of every month at St. Augustine’s Uptown Block Party to celebrate and share their neighborly vibe.

From Grove Street to the Vilano Bridge roundabout, stores and vendors showcase their wares to the backdrop of live music and food from 5 to 9 p.m.

Famous for shops jammed-packed with funky and vintage items, home decor, jewelry, antiques, clothing, art, food, brews, wine, ice-cream and fine dining, the monthly gathering features live music at Spinster Abbott’s Bodega and Tap Room.

Participating shops include Spinster Abbott’s, Sun Day Gathering Table, Jenna Alexander Studio, Ink and Barley, Juniper Market, Declaration & Co., Snake Bird Vintage, Crafts Without Borders, Materialistic, Luli’s Cupcakes, 360 Boutique, Anchor Boutique, Borrillos Pizza & Subs, Antiques and Things, Flip Flop Shops St. Augustine, St. Augustine Scoop, Alms & FARE, Cookiebird Ice Cream, Chez L’Amour, Carrera Wine Cellar, Hilaman & Co., Coastal Traders Imports, Paddiewhack, Smith Works Studios, Cool & Collected, and The Painted Lady.

St. Augustine’s Mantanzas Riverkeeper, a local nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting to the health of Guana Tolomato Mantanzas Estuary and Watershed, was also on-site sharing ways for locals to participate in keeping our waters clean.

DJ Dan from Tone Vendor Records spins the tunes at Spinster Abbott.

Friday, April 28 is the last monthly scheduled date before the block party turns quarterly for the summer.
