Sneak peek: New two-story Publix in Florida has ramen, poke bowls and upstairs dining area

Publix will open its latest two-story grocery store in Port St. Lucie at 12407 S.W. Community Blvd. at 7 a.m. July 19.

While two-story stores aren’t a new concept for the Florida-based grocery chain, the company has been rolling out prototype stores throughout South Florida, spokesperson Lindsey Willis told TCPalm.

The prototypes, including the 48,387 square-foot Port St. Lucie location, feature a second-story mezzanine level with seating areas.

Here’s a sneak peek ahead of opening day of the Treasure Coast’s first two-story Publix.

Does Publix have sushi, ramen and poke stations?

Yes, the two-story Publix in Port St. Lucie offers departments for groceries, dairy, frozen food, seafood, meat, and fresh produce, as well as a full-service bakery, deli, liquor store, and pharmacy.

This Publix will also feature a ramen, rice, poke and sushi station in the deli.

Ramen starts at $9.99 and includes chicken or pork as the choice protein, with the following flavors to choose from:

The poke bowls are build-your-own where customers can pick their size, base, two proteins, sauce and four toppings, ranging from $12.49 to $16.49.

The second level will also feature seating for indoor and outdoor dining.
