University High School’s Class of 2026 sent 740 seniors across the stage to collect diplomas at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach May 30.
The graduating class had an 80% college and career acceleration rate, a measure of students who have completed coursework or earned credentials demonstrating readiness for postsecondary education, the workforce, or military.
Valedictorian, salutatorian, scholars
Of the graduating Titans, 162 earned scholar designations, including Valedictorian Calvin Dinh and Salutatorian Ivanna Castillo. University students have been awarded at least $6.9 million in college scholarships.
College, industry preparedness
Some 486 University students earned industry scholar designations, while 36 attained the Florida Seal of Biliteracy and 61 received the Florida Seal of Fine Arts. The class earned 22 associate of arts or associate of science degrees through dual enrollment.
Community, military service
The Class of 2026 produced 55,186 community service hours. Eleven University graduates will enter the U.S. armed forces.
