Disgraced rap music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs has once again had his release date from federal prison moved up amid his 50-month federal prison sentence.
The Federal Bureau of Prisons declined to comment on the reason for the change, according to USA TODAY, noting it does “not discuss the conditions of confinement for any individual, including release plans.” However, the bureau cited general reasons a release date would be moved up, including for “good conduct time,” time credits from approved programs and activities and credit for time served before sentencing.
Combs is currently behind bars after a jury found him guilty of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security raided two of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ properties March 2024 as part of a federal investigation, including his Star Island mansion in Miami Beach.
Combs was arrested Sept. 16, 2024, in Manhattan, New York. He was taken into custody “based on a sealed indictment” filed by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, Damian Williams announced on social media at the time.
On Sept. 17, 2024, the indictment was unsealed and laid out charges against Combs of racketeering, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution, USA TODAY previously reported.
Photos from the raid were shared with jurors in Combs’ criminal trial in May 2025.
