Pensacola police have reopened off Scenic Highway near Langley Avenue after temporarily closing the road to respond to a fatal crash.
The PPD said a car and pickup truck were involved in a crash June 29, causing responding officers to close traffic both ways on Scenic Highway near Langley Avenue.
Officer Mike Wood, the spokesperson for the PPD, told the News Journal that there was a fatality. The PPD asks motorists to use Ninth Avenue as an alternate route.
Wood confirmed the road closure around 1:30 p.m. and announced the road had reopened around 4:10 p.m.
